“There’s No Crying in Baseball!”
So, last night Christine and I took the trip up to Baltimore to see the Red Sox take on the Orioles. We made it as far as the 6th inning. The baby fared well. She was just tired by the 6th and by that point it was already 9:30 PM. The game was progressing at a slower than normal pace, so we packed up and left. At that point, the score, which ended up being the final score was 11-6 with the Orioles in the lead.
It wasn’t a good night for the BoSox as the starting pitcher, Clay Bucholz lasted only 2 1/2 innings. I found out that he got sent down after the game, not to triple-A but to double-A ball. After throwing a no-hitter last year at his second Major League game, ever, he has perfomed this year very poorly and the Red Sox could endure no more.
Christine and I had some food at the game, as it was an anniversary gift, we had to celebrate. Ainsleigh had a bottle at the game as well. Everything was great. But sitting in one spot for too long made Ainsleigh uneasy and thus we had to move.
Leaving the game early didn’t bother me. I got to see the Red Sox play and that is all that mattered. I had a good time and Christine is happy that I am happy. She is the best wife, ever.

There’s No Crying in Baseball!
One last update for you. Christine took this video with our picture camera the other day of Ainsleigh jiggling away on her jungle themed playtime mat. She is really enjoying herself and more active than ever in watching things and responding to them.
I know it is a little dark, but that is because it was taken with a picture camera set on the video mode, so there wasn’t any extra lighting. I thought I would show it to you anyway.
Oh yeah, meet Karen King, our Midwife who delivered Ainsleigh. When Christine was in the office the other day, she had the chance to pose for a picture with her.

I can see it already! She’s going to be a dance star. Watch out… she’s going to follow in her mom’s footsteps. I still remember her flourescent green and black dance outfit she wore for a dance competition. I was so jealous.
