My Husband

divFor any of you out there that read our blog have been newlyweds and new parents all with in the same year know how stressful it can be. Add one person in graduate school, two demanding full time jobs and very little to no family for about 3,000 miles, life can be hectic and crazy. Well that is a very simplified version of our marriage since Ainsleigh was born, yes hectic and crazy is perfect!

I wanted to take a minute to not bitch about marriage but to praise how wonderful marriage can be. Marriage is not about religion or taxes to me. Marriage is about two people who love each other, even when sometimes its not the easiest thing to do. Marriage is about two people creating a family together (this does not mean having children, although sometimes that is included). Marriage is about making sure the other person always knows they are supported when life gets a little rough.

I myself don’t feel that I saw a lot of successful marriages in my lifetime, but truly believed that marriage was something I wanted to have in my life and when I met Will I knew for sure that he was the one that I would want to be with forever. Before Will was in my life, I thought of marriage as just having a husband and dad for your children. Will and I have learned together that marriage is a whole lot more. br

Since we got married our lives have been non-stop but tonight I simply wanted to take a moment to smell the roses and tell my hubby publicly that I love him and that he is a pretty great hubby!img style=”TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 215px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand” id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5340672706572708834″ border=”0″ alt=”” src=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_RLNAFqWpPgg/Sh3hh9Dj6-I/AAAAAAAACOk/_IkRHxfbUTk/s320/laughing+picture.jpg” /br /emthis is one of my all time favorite pictures of Will and I. I think you can clearly see how much we loved each other even at the beginning of our relationship (almost 6 years ago)/em
