Ear Infections Eye Infection
Well, tonight I gave in and took Ainsleigh to the Dr. her eye had been goopy for the past few days when she would wake up. Yesterday and today her eye got worse. I did call the Dr. last night and they said it was probably a clogged tear duct and it would clear up. Today, the goop was a little green/yellow so I called and they had an opening this evening. We finally got home at 9PM with some antibiotics and a very very tired baby.
She is sleeping soundly and I am about to create some sub plans since I probably won’t be back to work until Tuesday (hopefully Monday).
Both Will and I are hoping she won’t be like we were, we both had pretty bad ear infections as kids. Crossing our fingers.

Are you still nursing? If so, breastmilk is AMAZING on clogged tear ducts, snotty noses, and even pink eye!! Seriously. My oldest got pink eye once when my fourth was still nursing, so everyone (including me!) got some milk in the eye once or twice. Sounds wierd, but pink eye was gone in less than a day. BR/LOL…just thought I share some interesting breastmilk facts…=P

Sandy I have heard the same thing actually, funny isn’t. I never nursed actually but I pump so I was thinking of trying it a little later.

Wow. It’s kind of like “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” where you can use EMWindex™/EM on everything from acne to poison ivy. I hope to avoid the milk squirt, though at all costs, just something about it, I don’t know.

LOL Will. BR/I was skeptical about the breastmilk being good for so much…but since I’ve tried it..boy howdy!!BR/A squirt up the nose does wonders for a stuffy baby. Works for a few hours. BR/Isaiah had the worst clogged ducts. Man it was bad. His eyes were goopy for 8 months. Dude. BUT, the only thing that would keep them clear for more than 5 minutes was a squirt of milk.
