Snow Day!!
“
As I said in the previous post, school let out around 11:30 today. I was able to pick up Ainsleigh from daycare around noon, just in time for her afternoon nap.
When she woke up it had stopped snowing for a little while, so I bundled her up and we headed outside. I think the dogs had a lot more fun than she did.
Did I mention she doesn’t really like having a coat or hat on? Usually she pulls her hat off the minute she can. She is still really cute in her hat though isn’t she!

Toby amp; Tess seem to enjoy the snow even if Ainsleigh doesn#39;t. Glad to see you got one of the hats on her – glad it fits and covers her little ears good. Wow, she doesn#39;t like hats, looks like I will have to learn to knit something else for her. If I start a sweater in size 4 I might have it done by the time she gets to that size.BR/Love,BR/Nana

Nana you can help me make a quilt of her 1st year clothing this summer. Don’t worry about knitting for a while.

No, no, no, save those clothes for the next little daughter. We should make a photo quilt of some of her first year pictures. It’s been about 5 years since I did the photo copying for a quilt, maybe they have come up with an easier method that I used before.BR/Hugs,BR/Nana

well I actually have so many clothes I can afford to make a small quilt out of my favorites of hers.

Oh my, you sound a bit like my Great Grandmother Clark. When she moved in with us in the 30’s bringing a big steamer trunk, she had a piece of fabric from every dress she had ever made for she and her daughters. I presume she had planned on making a quilt from them. As a little child I wasn’t interested. Just remember that only certain types of fabric lend themselves to material suitable for quilts. We’ll talk about it when you call.BR/Love you,BR/Nana
