Who You Gonna Call?
pAs many of you know or don’t know, I am a part time video gamer, when I am not doing school work or helping Christine with the baby. As such, I thought I would share a little gem that I found on the internet.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game is due for release sometime in 2009. When I was a kid, I actually collected Ghostbusters memorabilia. I had the Ecto-1, the firehouse, multiple action figures and that ultimately transcended to my affinity for the Simpsons that kind of fizzled once I left for college. What many of the readers of this blog may not know is that I come from a family of collectors.
My dad is by far the biggest collector of Peanuts memorabilia on the west coast of the United States. In fact, he made over $2000 just on his duplicates at the bi-annual convention called Beagle-Fest in Santa Rosa, CA where he met Charles Schultz’s wife Jeanie. My brother, he collects Star Wars gear and my mom stuck with Peanuts when she and my father parted ways right about the time I left for college.
Needless to say, this Ghostbusters game looks to be completely and utterly awesome! Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis came together to write the script and all of the original two movie’s actors came on to voice parts in the video game. I am really excited about it.
Here’s a little more about it, if you are interested
