A Secret Santa Helps make the Holiday a Little Sweeter!

pEvery year a group of girls I met while planning our weddingnbsp;plan a secret santa exchange. I love doing this because its a fun way for all of us to be a part of each others Christmas without having to buy for everyone. The girls and I have gotten so close over the last four years and now all have little ones to talk about instead of weddings!

So this year my secret santa was actually one of the girls I am closest too, she has the cutest little boy, Aiden. Ainsleigh just loves Aiden they had a lunch date last spring actually…

Aiden’s mom sent us the most perfect present and it came just in time since Ainsleigh and I were getting busy this past weekend cooking up some yummy buckeyes (chocolate peanut butter balls).

Ainsleigh looked so adorable in this cute little girl apron, and as you can see from the photos I got a matching one, a new cookbook amp; a new cookie pan! This was one of our many adventures from Will’s first weekend out of school. More photos to come!/pbr class=”separator” style=”clear: both; text-align: center;””br /

pP.S. Ainsleigh walked over to the pots amp; pans completely on her own once the apron went on…maybe she isn’t a total tomboy after all!

What perfect presents and, just as you said, it came at the right time. Ainsleigh looks so cute in the apron. Glad the Buckeye Balls turned out so well as they have always been one of your favorites. Lee said he saved Ruth#39;s recipes so someday I hope to copy more. They are probably in storage since he is living overseas now.br /Love, Nana

I looooove Ainleigh in her little apron. Love it. Aiden and Ainsleigh definitely need to hang out again. Perferably when it#39;s warmer though. Maybe we can do another meetup this spring, either up here or like I said, I LOVE that children#39;s museum in Baltimore so I#39;d be into heading down there as well.
