Big Girl Room
div class=”separator” style=”clear: both; text-align: left;”We had big plans to keep the kids in the same room and keep our guest room but as we finally got Ainsleigh into a good routine with sleep we decided to have them in seperate rooms. For over a month we had planned to get rid of our guest bed (a queen size mattress) and actually almost sold it this weekend. Last minute some plans changed and we calculated the cost of a twin bed with trundle, new mattresses and bedding sets…suddenly the idea of moving the queen bed into Ainsleigh’s room came to be…and so this past Sunday. We went to Macy’s (and a few other stores) to look for perfect big girl bedding and found a great Tommy Hilfiger set at Macy’s (on SALE!) and so after a few stops we picked up some bedding and a waterproof mattress pad.br /After her nap, we moved the toddler bed and cleaned up her room. The queen bed slid right into the same spot her toddler bed/crib was in and Will brought her into the room once the box spring was in. She immediately jumped onto the box spring, and started dancing yelling “NEW BED, NEW BED!!!” She was ecstatic. We had to keep telling her to get off the bed while we were trying to put her bedding on, which we found hilarious. I loved watching her joy in this new bed.
Once the bed was made, we moved all her “baby” furniture out, the changing table and rocker were moved into the baby’s new room and now she just has her dresser, doll house and big girl bed. She slept great last night (right in the middle of the bed).
Here are some pictures I snapped with my phone, we will try to take some better photos this weekend.

I can just see she and Noni curled up in this bed together when Bon comes.
