Coming Soon… A New Web Address

To coincide with our move to San Diego, California, we are going to change the URL of our blog for family / friends to http://sd-hulls.com. It’s along the same lines as dc-hulls but we are putting an SD spin on it. This change will go into effect within the next couple months. I am shooting for October. We’ll probably post a redirect from this site to that one. So, please watch for it.

We apologize that we haven’t posted something for some time, it is just that we are still transitioning to our new lives in Southern California. As always, we hope this blog can help our friends and family to keep up-to-date with what is happening in our lives as well as a place to see the progress our munchkins are making in their lives.

Briefly, Ainsleigh and Nolan are getting used to their new daycare situation at Discovery Isle, near where we live. Ainsleigh has two teachers and Nolan has nearly six (some are part-time). It is almost the look and feel of a real elementary school, complete with a stage in the middle for performances (I went to Ainsleigh’s this week; if I’m able, might as well, right). I think both really like it.

Christine is driving about an hour each way by freeway (against traffic) to Lake Elsinore to run an online school for the Lake Elsinore School District. She just opened the school (in its first year) last week and has been working long hours to make sure that all of the kids have the right classes and that the teachers are well prepared to teach them. She expects things to slow down soon. This would explain her absence here dc-hulls lately.

As for me, I am working remotely for the same company I worked for in Alexandria, VA before moving, however I am only staying on long enough until they find my replacement. My blog posts, as of late, have been on my personal/professional portfolio Web site and blog at http://willhull.com. My goal is to get exposure to an audience in San Diego that might want to employ my talent. I am also submitting résumés everyday.

Other than that, it is a new experience here in Southern California for our family and we are still getting adjusted. Life is good and we’re all healthy. I couldn’t complain (not that anyone would listen).

Thanks for sticking with us on this journey. We’ll talk to you soon.
