Cooking Baby Food Marathon

br br divsome of you who read our blog regularly might remember my first marathon back in November shortly after the little munchkin started solid foods. Back then all I had to do was cut up an apple or sweet potato, steam it and puree it. Of course my wonderful Bebea Cook machine did all that for me. br Well now that Ainsleigh is finally feeling better from her ear infection, she is eating SOOO SOOO much better.br Since we always go grocery shopping on Sunday’s I decided to go ahead and pick up food to make her next stage of solids. I made some really interesting mixtures. ulliChicken, Sweet potatoes amp; apples/liliChicken, butternut squash amp; apples/liliChicken, carrots, peas amp; pasta/liliPasta, butternut squash, tomato amp; cheese/liliand I think something else that I can’t remember right now/li/ulpSo that’s it…yahoo….food for a couple of months all in the freezer./p

Hope she likes the new combo. With her gums being so swollen she may resist. Do you have a snow day tomorrow so you can stay home and try out the new food? At least getting her started on so many veggies early, maybe she won’t be a picky eater.BR/Love,BR/Nana

we are at home today, and she tried some of it last night and I think she liked it. We will try some more at lunch, since she is supposed to have yogurt for dinner because of her ear infection.
