Don’t Vote: Celebrities Try Another Tactic

So, this is a little bit different than what we normally post to this blog but it isn’t a political post. But, it is a post that I think everyone should read, watch and act on. brbrMost of us are intelligent enough to register and actually go to the polls on election day. Well, this video assumes otherwise. For many however, those who do register forget to vote or don’t register at all. This public service annoucement is directed at that demographic and I thought I would share it with all of you. It isn’t partisan, it isn’t inflamatory (unless you count explitives as inflamatory) but it is designed for everyone who sees it to act. I recommend you press play on the video below. Who knows, you just might see a familiar face or two and maybe laugh (look for the Friends reference).

The point is that voting is important.

Christine is a civics teacher stressing the importance of voting every day, in class. I work in Washington, DC and have a Political Science degree. I have worked with Congressional offices on the Hill and now I advocate for people with disabilities. It is important for us. Is it important to you?

Thanks for taking a look today.

I can’t believe an American who would say their vote didn’t matter. IT DOES! I would NEVER vote for the person you support Will and I know you would not vote for who I will vote for. That is what makes America so great – we get to choose. My prayer is that everyone will sit down, study the issues, the person running for office and go to the polls.BR/Hugs,BR/Nana

Nana, that was the whole point of the video is that by starting the video with “Don’t vote” it was supposed to antagonize those who are apathetic about voting. BR/BR/As for the politics, I will leave this out of this discussion. We can agree to disagree.BR/BR/Thanks for your comment.
