“This weekend, I got to spend a lot of time with Ainsleigh at two different parks. Each of them are unique in what they have to offer. The first is Clemyjontri Park in McLean, VA.br /This park absolutely has it all. From fully disability accessible equipment, frogs, fish and cars on springs, seesaws, jungle bars, you name it, Clemyjontri has it. Oh yeah, it also has a full size carousel in the middle of the park for $1.50 per ride. It is a great park.

We visited the nearby Rec center on Sunday. Ainsleigh didn’t want to leave after two hours of nonstop play. This park was shaded due to a man-made awning. It has multiple slides covering ages through 12 years. She had a blast and kept following a 4 year-old boy around calling him Daniel when his name was Mason. I had to correct her quite a bit. At one point, Mason was laying in the grass and Ainsleigh snuck up on him and jumped on him shouting, “Wake up! Wake Up!” It was one of those, “you had to be there moments.”br /Needless to say, both days pretty much wore her out and she had decent naps both days.br

The person at the end of this video looks quite a bit like Christine’s dad. He let Ainsleigh hold his tennis racket and try to hit the ball against the wall. She really enjoyed it. She threw it most of the time toward the wall and used the racket to stop the ball where it was when she was trying to get it. All-in-all a good couple of days at the park with Ainsleigh.br
