4 month check up

Can you all believe it…Ainsleigh is 4 months old (tomorrow)! I know that time is really flying by for Will and I.

Today we took her to get checked up and also to get a couple of shots (she only got two because we are doing a delayed vaccination schedule). She did very well and barely cried. I wanted to share with you all how much our little girl has grown. When she was born she weight 7lbs 14oz and was 21.5 inches long and now…

Ainsleigh is weighing in at 13lbs 9oz and is in the 50th percentile for her weight (which means she is average for a 4 month old) but as you can all imagine she is in the 75th percentile for her height-we all know she gets that from her dad. Ainsleigh is now 25 inches long!!!

We were also told we could start solid foods whenever we are ready. I personally don’t know if I am ready but figure we will probably try rice cereal in the next few weeks and see how she does. I want to wait until closer to the holidays so I will be home a little more often and it will be easier to start new foods.

I have been really working on tummy time because she is still not showing signs of wanting to roll over, but I think she will be there in a few weeks.

I think the biggest change is that she has started the long process of getting her first tooth. She is a drool monster and knaws on her fingers constantly, I think we will have a tooth sooner than later at this point.

Well that’s all for now folks!
