7 Months Old

br /Today Ainsleigh is 7 months old!

Looking at that its truly hard to believe we are on the downward slope of her being 1 years old.

divEvery day she gets better on her tummy and I see the signs of crawling. This morning I found her on her belly in her crib, which tells me it truly won’t be long before she is crawling. (*note to mom and dad, get off your butt and baby proof the house!)

She loves to sit up and play with toys, she usually gathers them all in her lap so she has tons to play with.

Ainsleigh adores Toby amp; Tess and would gladly let them kiss her all over (we try to avoid that). She giggles at them running around and playing. Tessa gets very anxious is Ainsleigh ever cries and Toby sits right next to her when she is playing to protect her-its pretty cute if I do say so myself.

Will and I are trying to move to feeding her solids three times a day, ever since she got those two adorable little teeth she is having a hard time eating solids but it gets better every day. We will now bring her downstairs in the morning before we go to work and feed her yogurt and fruit, then she will eat “lunch” of fruit and veggies at day care. In a couple of weeks we will start to introduce turkey and chicken in her diet which she will have for dinner time.

I think the biggest news for us is that baby sign language is working, she started signing “milk” to us last weekend when she wants her bottle. She smiles at me when I sign “good girl” and “eat”. Hopefully we can continue to expand her vocabulary.

Well that’s all for today folks.
