"Does this diaper make her butt look big?"
Well folks, we did it, we went granola and started cloth diapering. Will wasn’t really convinced but it was something I really wanted to do. We finally made the decision when we crunched the numbers and realized exactly how much we could save by making the investment in cloth diapers. So we went with a brand called BumGenuis
I ordered 6 pink and 6 white to start with and just yesterday after trying them out for 3 days ordered another 12 (thanks to my dad), so I only have to do laundry ever other day. The news I ordered will be coming in bright pink, yellow, green, and peach
Will was left to begin our adventure on Wednesday night alone when I went to back to school night. The diapering went well, the night, not so well-I’ll let him tell you all about his night.
The diapers are a one size fits all-how you say, they have a system of snaps that make them smaller and grow with the baby. So the diapers we bought will last her until she is 35 lbs.
Over the course of diapering a baby, we think we will probably save ourselves enough to board Toby and Tess for one of our trips home (YAY!!!). Not to mention we are saving quite a lot of disposables from being sent to a landfill.
Oh and the best part of cloth diapering-the diapers are rather cute-don’t you think.
Join us next time as we continue our adventure in cloth diapering and raising Ainsleigh Madelynn…

CLOTH DIPES RULE!BR/I’ve been a cloth mama for awhile, both my boys are still in dipes. They are cute! Nothing is cuter than a little baby butt in a soft, cloth diaper. Bum genius are good ones too. I like those a lot. Way to go all crunchy! =)
