The Sickness

NyQuil/DayQuilSo I am going on four days now living with what I am calling “The Sickness.” I have a cough that is the equivalent to the lightest tickle on my throat but hurting my head every time I cough. It feels like my meninges are going to burst and squeeze my brain until there is nothing left but either a diamond or powder. All that I have to say is thank goodness for NyQuil and DayQuil or I would be making life difficult for both Christine and the baby. I am hoping that I won’t be as sick when we start our journey northward to NYC this weekend on Saturday. I am really glad to have a loving wife because, just as I was running out of my supply of NyQuil and DayQuil (sounds like she is my dealer, but not so much the case, more of a person administering morphine on the battlefield, I’m wounded and need some relief), she stopped and picked up more while she was getting nausea prescriptions filled. She is absolutely the best.

I hope you are sleeping in the spare bedroom and not passing this on to Christine.
